Creativity taps into our internal world, feelings and thoughts, that can sometimes be difficult to put into words at any age. Adolescence is a formative time to explore your sense of self and learn more about the important pieces that make you, you!
This group invites you to connect with peers, utilize tactile materials, create, explore, question & grow together. We will engage in the unique process of literally wrapping your integral beliefs, cultural foundations, interests, strengths, experiences etc. into a physical representation.
Creating figures & doll making has historical roots and has always been a significant tool in art therapy. Whether art feels more accessible to you or creating art will be stepping outside your comfort zone, this group welcomes you. No previous artistic experience required to join.
Group intentions include:
- Identity Development
- Intention Setting
- Peer connection
- Coping skills
- Externalizing emotions
